Registered Professional Nurse & Midwife

Sister Nonhlanhla Lengana is a highly accomplished Registered Professional Nurse and Midwife whose dedication to maternal and child health spans over two decades. Known for her deeply compassionate and holistic approach, she is committed to supporting women and families through the incredible journey of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

A Foundation of Excellence

Sister Nonhlanhla laid a solid foundation for her career, completing a Diploma in General, Community, Psychiatric Nursing, and Midwifery at Chris Hani Baragwanath Nursing College in 2005. She further honed her expertise by achieving a BCur (Education and Administration) from the University of Johannesburg in 2011.

Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital (2005–2011)

Gaining invaluable clinical experience.

Sunninghill Hospital (2011–2016)

Progressing from Shift Leader in the Maternity Unit to Unit Manager, demonstrating leadership and operational acumen.

Dr. Majachani inc. (2016–2019)

Serving as a dedicated Practice Midwife.

Visionary Entrepreneurship

Driven by a passion for personalised care, Sister Nonhlanhla founded Ikhaya le Mbeleko in 2017. What began as a singular practice has rapidly expanded into a network of three thriving facilities, offering premier private midwifery services at Pinehaven Hospital (Netcare), Krugersdorp Hospital (Netcare), and Busamed Hospital in Modderfontein.
